What we collect
We do not require accounts and we do not run advertising trackers. The contact note builder works entirely in your browser; nothing you type is sent to us unless you choose to email it. When you email us, we receive your email address, name if given, and the content of your message.
Our hosting provider may record standard technical logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and reliability. These logs are kept for a limited period.
Why we use it and our lawful basis
We use emails to reply and to improve our articles, based on our legitimate interests in running the bulletin. Technical logs are processed for the legitimate interest of keeping the site secure.
How long we keep it
Correspondence is kept for up to 24 months, then deleted unless an ongoing conversation requires it.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the site and email, under appropriate contracts, or where the law requires.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, object to or restrict processing, and request portability. Write to us using the address above. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
